I don't really have anything to say today except Happy Birthday Heather. Today is my sister's 29th birthday and I'm not gonna see her until tomorrow so this'll have to do. Awww that's her in the picture up top, it really doesn't seem like it was that long ago when she was that small but hell I wouldn't remember anyway bein that she's 7 years older then me and she's only about 1 in that pic but oh well. My girl won a Grammy, Beyonce won a Grammy!! I'm so happy she won at least one of the 2 she was nominated for. She won for her collabo with Stevie Wonder on the Luther Vandross tribute album, the song's called "So Amazing". I'm pissed Destiny's Child didn't win any of the 4 awards they were nominated for, Mariah Carey won them all damn it. Maybe in the future they'll have another chance. The show was aight but the best part was when Jay-Z performed with Linkin Park, I'm a huge Hov fan and the album he did with Linkin Park is off the chain. They even won the Grammy for Best Rap Collabo which they beat out Destiny's Child for but at least Jay won it. "To the world, you may be one person; but to one person, you may be the world!" So I was watchin a movie on LifeTime that I've been waitin to see for almost a year called 'For One Night'. It's basically about a town that still has segregated proms and a female student decides to try and change things. It's based on a true story that took place in 2002 in Butler, GA. I can't believe things like this still go on, especially since schools have been integrated for some 40 or more years. Gerica McCrary got the town to combine the "black" and the "white" proms that year but the next it went right back to the way it was, the year after that the school stepped in and now all the proms are integrated. This makes absolutely no since to me because I can't stand any form of segregation, racism, etc. and for this to be happening like 4 hours from where I live is unbelievable and it's not just that one school. It's just proof that some things never change no matter how hard you try but one person can make a difference, even if it is just for one night. I just had to get that off my chest. " Even though racism and segregation still exist in many different ways and in various communities, you have the ability to put an end to these types of behaviors. Now I don't usually watch the entire superbowl, I usually just flip back and forth but this year I decided to actually sit and watch it from start to finish. I'm from NC and our Panther's lost in the last game of the play-offs against the SeaHawks so i sure as hell wasn't goin for them. I like most people was hopin the Steelers would win and they did. This year the game was much better then last years and I'm not really a football girl but this game was excitin as hell .
The best play was by far the 43 yard pass to Hines Ward, that boy can run. The damn SeaHawks couldn't touch him.
The other reason I wanted the Steelers to win is because I wanted Jerome Bettis to finally win a ring because it was supposedly his last season. "The Bus" got his ring and announced his retirement after the game. That's all I have to say, Go STEELERS!!

Damn life sucks right now, I'm so damn bored it ridiculous. Even though it could be worse and I'm definitely glad it's not.
